The 80s was a time of great creativity when it came to rock music. the decade gave out the best of rock music. Here are some of the best vinyl records from the 80s:

AC/DC –Back In Black

It was the biggest selling album of the AC/DC’s whole career and the second biggest selling album ever after thriller by Michael Jackson. Back In Black is the best of all the records of hard rock of all time. it was bad times for the band since Bon had just died and the album was a tribute to him, but it was also the best times for the band. the new singer came in and they got back on their feet and gave out what made them one of the best bands in the 80s .out of tragedy came out the best album.

Dire Straits – Love Over Gold

The album starts with a 14 minutes song for most people this may be music career suicide but the writer, Knopfler, just wanted to craft a collection of uniqueness and thrilling tunes and concentrated less on the money. With Love Over Gold being the best album in the UK album charts and staying among the top albums for 4 years means that it was epic and incomparable to any other and money did follow up after all. Love Over Gold was a success in the 80s.

Bruce Springsteen – Nebraska

Nebraska was spectacular in every way, from the plain instrumentation to the artwork. this album is the most emotional from Bruce Springsteen. He recorded the whole album alone, at home in his bedroom in 1982. With his instruments, he created breathe taking songs, just original and unique. Its amazing stuff.

Kate Bush – Hounds Of Love

The 80s have been the best decade for Kate Bush’s career. she did release 4 albums in that period Hounds of love being the most successful among the albums. this album was loaded with hit singles. she is now one of the most accomplished composers and song writer. By having the best special video effects in the 80s,her presence in the charts and the radio was continuous. It was not the video or the words that made this album the best, but the good music and her vibe that was just amazing.

Iron Maiden – Somewhere In Time

It is Maiden’s best album. Somewhere In Time was a breakthrough for the band. it ensured the bands momentum was never diminished with slight change in the mood of the music they played. it was another great success for maiden across the atlantic. the album tour was a triumph. Maiden gain popularity in Europe, America and even the far east could not resist their charms.

Peter Gabriel – So

So was Peter Gabriel’s biggest selling album, it was his fifth album, released in 1986,this was his breakthrough after taking a break to push through with the Sledgehammer and the other songs whose video is the most played of all time on MTV.

Guns N’ Roses – Appetite For Destruction

This is one of the greatest records in the 80s, and one of the biggest selling album across the world. It took rock music to the next level in the 80s transforming Guns N’ Roses into superstars.

Disintegration would change the mood of the fans as they sing along. This was the best last moments for the band. Too bad most of their relationship within and outside the band fell apart.
